Your friends are either stupid, or you don't know what you are talking about.

Well from the post u made , u seem a very inteligent and balanced person
wich uses very acurate arguments
The facts are so clear i dont really understand why should u deny them
but again this world is full of people wich are completely blind and irracional about things they love and sometimes thats good others bad and sometimes
completely ridicolous

What should people/the kids use instead?
there are plenty of other sites...including the labels own site
but what does it help to use another mp3 store?
Can you mention some of the plenty of other sites you know, where it's possible to buy music and get artist will get more out of it?
so you're basically implying that beatport gets labels/artists the best rates on sold music?? or that all digital stores, including one set up by the label themselves, cannot offer better deals than beatport?

Of course, if a label sets up a store themselves, it will be a better (regarding the split of $, but they will probably not sell as much through their own store), but I still like to know some of the plenty of other sites/stores that you say offer better deals than Beatport, because I think it is more or less the same for most stores... (plus/minus 5-10% maximum).

Also, what you wrote originally was "don't use sites like Beatport".
Does that mean, don't use mp3 selling stores, or was it just a weak attack on Beatport?

:)
