Hey. Does anyone know of a simple (preferably free) MIDI plug-in that can introduce random delay to notes? As in, that can emulate timing inaccuracies?
(I know you can do it with groove templates etc, but I'm specifically looking for an effect...)

Yeah, Reaktor would probably be even easier in fact. But I'd really like something smaller and simpler. And I'm lazy.oblioblioblio wrote:i did it with a max patch once.
i think it worked ok but max scheduler rate is 1000 hz so it was a bit sloppy.
dunno if that helps but i reckon something like Max would be perfect for a simple task like this.

there are some unique effects in max4live under "tools"
stuff called improvbeat and a few others that do this kind of thing. may be what you are looking for
