Let's say you play a C2 through, you'll have a bit of a C1

play near the 50hz with any waveform on any softsynth and then lowpass strong ... if you want it move add n LFO ... mono and glide ... just my 2 cent

Sounds like 2 sounds to me.

One doing the sub, one doing the little bass stab, both likely different synths, or that's probably how I'd do it.

why does it sound detuned?

because two sinewaves one detuned and maybe assigned to an lfo will make this type of sound. sort of wobbles a bit...

it just sounds likea normal sub to me, i cant hear the wobble!
