Thomas Melchior arrives at the Lomidhigh Organic HQ in the shape of Cinderfella ltd
with the ferocious 3-track - Witch Doctor EP. "The Spell" does just exactly that - puts
you in a spell with a wall of percussion sounds, chants and a potent bassline. The first
track on the b-side “The Undoing” is more sparsely foundated but an equally hypnotic
affair. Sexy bass figures and estranged vocals which at times bears the resemblance of
someone tuning their violin. Finishing this fine piece of musical art is "W.T.B. clicking
it's way into the groove with a deep, repetitative voice.
All of this makes it a killer tool for those late night sessions.
