I got the series II from here http://www.alessandro-products.com/main ... headphones

the ones in the middle...
They're basically pimped up grados, same as the you got Hades I believe. They were recommended on DOA quite a lot and i must say i really like them, although they could be pushing the highs a bit too much leading me to always having too little highs in my mixes :S

from what i had understood at the time of buying, was that the alessandro products are modded and designed in collaboration with grado to be "studio" headphones, as opposed to the hi-fi quality of the sr325. Don't ask me how much of that is marketing and how much isnt ;) If you're around Geneva one day, i'll let you try them out :)

well, if they don't get specific about details, (or on the other hand if they use too many flashy technical names) then it's usually just marketing :lol:

but you're on for the test if I'm ever around Geneva.
