really!?!?! "horrible"??
i honestly was expecting to not like this. STL is great, but for the past 18 months has been high on the list of musicians in need of serious quality control. good stuff mixed with tired sketches...
but this is very strong imo. great melodies. i think this is a move away from the theo-aping meditations—a welcome direction. i do wish he'd return to the production quality of his earlier stuff in terms of the annoyingly dirty low end though. i like, but it relegates his stuff to the jamal moss analogue fetish zone.

Yeah I agree. This sounds like a nice release. He's put out so many records of late though that I thought this might have been 'one too many' but i like the sound of the samples. Not sure if I'll buy it though. I reckon I've enough STL tracks at the moment that'll do the same job as this one.good_god wrote:really!?!?! "horrible"??
