Mine also crashes far too often... (8.1.1)

All i got from ableton support was this:
Hi,

there are a lot crashes caused by different plugins:
- One crash caused by Arturia's Minimoog V VST.
- One crash caused by PSPaudioware's PSP Oldtimer VST
- One crash caused by PSPaudioware's Lexicon PSP42 VST
- One crash caused by ueberschall's elastik VST.
- Four crashes caused by Massive.Synth.vst 1.0.1.008
- Two crashes caused by Massive.Synth.vst 1.1.4

Please update all those to their latest versions!

There are also six crashes with the CoreAudio framework which were also reported by iTunes.
They may be caused by the Motu audio drivers or by a broken Firewire cable.

Please update the Motu driver and make sure the Firewire cable connections sit tight!

Please send me more crash logs should you experience more crashes!

Best,
Dennis
Not much help.

I did what they said and still get the crashes.

have any of you guys been trying the 8.1.1 betas?
I was also having loads of crashes, but 8.1.1b6 or b5 really is much much more stable than the previous 8.1.1. Plus there should be a new update tomorrow, as this beta is expiring on friday. It's worth giving it a go imo...

I tried b6 last night and its more stable... still crashes though and it seems to be extremely slow in gui performance. At points it reminds me of writing music 11 years ago. :/
