agreed on the

Malbec - (had some Alamos the other night, great bottle)

Albarino - (I've tried a couple brands, Martin Codax is great for summer)

also a fan of

Carmenerre - (Chilean wine, like velvet chocolate cake!)

Cannonau - (grenache style Sardinian wine)

and always fall back on some Chianti Classico Reserva
