Dark Vibrations aka Robert Massoni

Post by infernal.techno »

not too much information about this artist listed much of anywhere. I've purchased a good bit of his releases from Amazon, and he has a few netreleases with Tropic and Sonica

Roberto Massoni) was born in Saints, Brazil in the year 1975.
He has been living in Buenos Aires / Argentinia since 1976. He had a musical upbringing and developed working in bands for twelve years. Later he realized that he must be alone to have the creative control and to find his personal maturity to carry out more authentic and more faithful, real motivations in product: Dark Vibrations is a homage to the 80´s, to all those bands which´created an important relation among music and aesthetic during this decade.
He uses three fundamental elements: the textures, soundscapes and tech dub rhythm lines.
All the work was produced on a Laptop during nocturnal trips in subways and buses.

I just found "Boreal" at my computer. I remember was the first net-release I ever download. :)

Don't know what happened with its previous net-releases, audio808 was one of the first argentinean net-labels together with Igloo and Leonel's.

Still knowing not too much about Roberto.

Roberto was my teacher in 2007/2008. I think he is probably the best electronic musician in Argentina in terms of taste, skills and knowledge.
