Sonata Music hat mich ja schon Mal überrascht, doch auch mit diesem Release bleiben alle Münder wieder offen stehen. Ist «Clocked» noch ein unscheinbares Minimaltech-Teil, dass funktionell und ohne große Ausreister von Anfang bis Ende durchzieht, hat man mit dem namensgebenden Track der EP dann den Sechser im Lotto.
«Prokrastinator» heißt das Dingens und wartet in drei Versionen auf. Während Jonas Knopp und Franklin des Costa mit ihren Interpretationen eher funky bleiben, ist es das Original, welches die Tanzfläche zum Kochen bringt und beweist, dass man – wie schon so oft angemerkt – mit wenig viel erreichen kann. Denn Sounds wurden an sich gar nicht viel verbaut: Dicke Bassline, Bassdrum, Hats und Snares. fertig ist der Lack. Darauf rhythmisch ein kalt-wuchtiger und deeper Synth-Stab und fertig ist das Monster. Sehr schön.
