if you use AutoWarp to let ableton find the origianl bpm then manually adjust the 1.1.1 marker and then "warp from here".. it takes not very long at all.

besides - pissed? what did you want, an automatic dj machine?

er.. i ought to say mixing machine. having ten thousand perfectly warped tracks does not a dj make. not by a longshot.

....because you're going to play them all??

sure you can bring/prepare more than the equivalent of ~150 records, but unless you're being booked for really REALLY long gigs i doubt you need to prepare 50gb worth.

I play a lot of cds and it usually takes me 2 or more minutes to burn the tracks into a cd.. so you shouldnt be pissed about warp marking...

id much prefer to do the final scratch route. Ive used ableton to dj, its ok..and a little too easy. But recently ive been buying a whole lot more mp3s off of beatport which has a much bigger selection of minimal stuff than my local record store.
---> My album is out now on Beatport and iTunes. <---
