Came here to say this. Definitely an impressive setup, but I can't see how it would be very productive for songwriting.
Having worked many times in a local studio that has a ton of gear like that I can tell you: the songs just write themselves half the time... especially when you start hooking that stuff up to various 16 step sequencers.

Its truly an amazing experience of synergy when you get a room full of gear like that and a friend and just let it happen.

[quote="tone-def"]i don't think i'd have much problems making stuff in a studio like that. although i'd rather work with only a few drum machines, a couple of analog poly's, a few analog mono's, a digital synth, a nord electro, nice big mixing desk, Pro Tools and a load of outboard effects.[/quote)

yea, only only a few drum machines, a couple of analog poly's, a few analog mono's, a digital synth, a nord electro, nice big mixing desk, Pro Tools and a load of outboard effects? Only

Chances are you would come out of there with the same blank disc u came in with. ;)

And never two without a third.

Anyway... looks more like a collector's pile of sh!t than an actual musician's studio.

Whatever. The internet corrupts me and nothing impresses me anymore.

Wait...mnml.nl impresses me by being so retarded censoring some words.

No it is a studio. Saw it in action a few years back. The guy that owns it used to produce with Peter Rauhofer as Club 69. They were pretty big.
