Looking for deep dark minimal in Berlin...any leads??

Ive been here for about three months, and i still havent really found exactly the music i love.... deep, introspective techno...aka jens zimmerman or some of ditchs stuff, or quirky techno/house... most of the 'minimal' nights ive been too are really housey and that's not really my thing....
any info would be much appreciated...
(or even nights in other cities in germany..im definitely willing to travel to hear awesome music)

i don't know any of the artists you mentioned but I saw Function of Sandwell District at Berghain, along with some of the ostgut ton residents and it was really trippy, intrspective and quite dark sounding. was perfect sounding for me.

I'm sure there will be more but I don't have any other leads I'm afriad. I agree that the housey thing is quite popular, but I think the style of afterhours wouldn't work so well without music with some slightly housey flavours.

was three times there until now and too big parrs very impressed by the dark sound. by the way: function one soundsys

the gegenkultur every Thursday at goldengate from the guys of klangsucht...

maybe is not really deep and introspective but definitely is not 90's house....

There are at least 10 or 20 techno/house parties going on every weekend in Berlin. There's a lot of house, sure, but I think at least one of them will be playing this kind of stuff. Check the RA listings and look for artists rather than clubs or nights. I seem to notice Sven Weisemann playing more or less every week, might be worth checking him out. Mike Shannon is playing at Watergate on Sat (I don't really like Watergate, but hey), Dopplereffekt at Arena, there's a Rekids night at Berghain...
