Heya, I was wondering if any of you guys wanted to drop some names I should check for artists a relatively crisp minimal sounds that maintains a pretty solid 4/4 groove.
I mean stuff like audio werner or microfunk, dandy jack (to a lesser extent). Like a lot of what perlon tends to (well, tended to in the past) release.
Thanks a bunch, and apologies if this is in the wrong forum/a similar thread has recently been made.

Sorry for late reply!
By crisp I mean if you listen to it via monitoring headphones you get VERY sharp sounds with very little reverb or distortion.
I guess a lot of ricardo villalobos tracks have that, and like I said most of the stuff out on perlon.
TBH I've been listening to some early detroit techno lately, which also has that kind of crispness, but I'm looking to listen to stuff more specifically in the "minimal/house" area.
I guess if I had to use an example-comparison. Cocoon tends NOT to be crisp at all... I dunno how else to expain it unless you suggest a track and I let you know if it's what I meant or not. Sorry for the ambiguity.
Everyone thanks for your help!!!

edit: I guess crisp can mean very *well-produced* if you know what I mean. But well-produced tracks are not necessarily crisp. Ugh I bet I'm only confusing you more lol x
