I read that about a month ago. It's a phenomenal book.
Also, regarding producing and interesting techniques, there's a torrent I downloaded that has a bunch of documents and ebooks on using reverb, compression, delay, EQ, how to program analog synths and master songs, and way more stuff.

One good source (not books again, sorry!) of info is videos on youtube, some of them are not so good, but you occasionally find some really good tips.
