the new mackie iSeries looks pretty interesting. its allowing to do mix downs like the days with tape.. 16 channels in and 16 channels out (well all i know right now is back to the mixer itself.. i don't know about actual outs but hey thats what aggregate is for) and for much cheaper.. i think its $1700.00
