Sorry to say so, but exclusive contracts are for major labels, where they pay the artists 20.000 euro or more in advance, and the artist agree's to do XX 12" and X albums within the next 3 years.

I think once you've done a lot of stuff over the years, you eventually discover that you've created some things that are embarassing or at least quite capable of taking away from your reputation within th e music you're working on presently. Monikers become important in situations like this. They are also important for marketing... Sometimes it's essential to differentiate between sounds (minimal sparse techno vs driving hard stuff for example.. creates confusion to be pushing both from the same artist sometimes).
