I'm amazed that Fourcolor has not yet been represented here... especially given all the Donnacha Costello fans! Air Curtain (2004) is a must, a gorgeous 48 minutes' worth of beautifully minimal Japanese microsound.
Keiichi Sugimoto is the main force behind Fourcolor and is also a part of Minamo (Apestaartje/Cubic) and Fonica (12K). He's currently with 12K (Taylor Deupree's own Brooklyn label).

Love Sebastien Roux's Pillow as well as their VA Colour and Pattern, which features Minamo and NYC's own Daniel Raffel and I-Sound.
Carsten Nicolai has produced some really interesting work, LOVE his Syn-Chron project and his last release with Ryuichi Sakamoto, Insen. He's also on tour this month in Europe... be sure to check him out!

Arts In Motion is indeed a project that I'm helping to develop -- this year we performed at the Philadelphia Museum of Art and Carnegie Hall as well as at small, intimate club venues around the East coast of the US of A. Hopefully we'll bring some events to the West Coast in the next year :-)
