The ‘Redevice invites…’ clubnights and the www.redevice.com netlabel are joining forces once again to bring you crowd-pleasing international allure, combined with a new freely downloadable internet release of the highest order.
This time around our regular bi-monthly sonic crime-scene, the Studio 80 venue in Amsterdam, will host dapper escapades into digital worlds by headliner Seth Troxler, and the club will be doused in mystery through a live-appearance by Motor City’s Anonym.
Be there. There’s no excuse to be square.
Hailing from Detroit, but operating from Berlin, the biography of our main figure behind the decks says it all:
Through a leaking bodily cavity resembling the pork found in Chinese restaurants, Satan shat out a crystal beaming with glowing red embers.
This crystal matured into the fetus of Seth Troxler. Seth was placed on earth as a weeping fetus, the sound of inevitability. As he grew, his ancestral roots took on a magnetic channeling power, more than his feeble mind could ever consciously fathom. As a result,
he became capable of creating some of the world's finest and most intuitive dance cuts, including releases and remixes on Wagon Repair, Crosstown Rebels, M_nus, Bpitch Control, Circus Company, and Raum... Musik.
His influences include the chirping of crickets, the whirring of space ships, and the sweet sounds of whistling voodoo magic. However, Seth draws the majority of his inspiration from Robert Downey Jr., and the idea of releasing the shackles that bind Downey so he can finally do heroin in peace. Also Seth enjoys cooking, long walk on the beach and candle lit dinners.
Detroit resident Anonym literally lives up to his name, always performing behind his anonymity-ensuring mask, making sure the audience focuses more on the music then on the persona, whilst sticking to what he knows best: cutting the cream of the jackin’ electronic crop.
After some highly recommended releases on labels such as Anonymous, Archipel, and Sushitech, the mystery continues on our own Redevice imprint, with 2 deeeep distinctive flowing cuts by the man himself, and 1 wibbly-wobbly dancefloor-friendly Vera Heindel remix.

Redevice accomplices, the hedonistic and cudly Carlos Valdes and the patron of oh-so-solid house music David Reinhart, plus hosts Ramchez, Pep and Frodo, will serve as dance music beacons throughout the night, with their thick simmering narcotic grooves - tight, uncompromising and with panache.
