i dunno why they just didnt call this logic studio 8.5 ... there's really not too much to get excited about. and the upgrade price of $199! damn you apple, i'd say $129 is fair. i'll be waiting for logic studio 10 or maybe i'll be full on ableton by then.

besides the new flex engine i find the 'audio to sampler' feature very useful. its great when making remixes! cant wait to get it and i think its worth the update!
