alphakanal automat http://blog.alphakanal.de/tag/automat also can do different tunings and it´s free
cheers
I play the guitar and sometimes I also tune it randomly to break all the patterns i´ve learned and find new melodies/harmonies. It´s the same feeling as when you learn to play a new instrument, a new world to explore...AK wrote:My problem is that because I play keyboard, my fingers keep going to familiar patterns and progressions, this is a very difficult thing to break out of but simply altering the tuning system feels like new territory with new harmonies to find. Like discovering all over again.
cheers
Rob Papen Albino 3, the obvious issue here is that ALL parts within a project would have to be made by the same synth due to tuning. Luckily it's extremely versatile sound-wise.JonasEdenbrandt wrote:What soft synth did you end up using?
I've since found out that Cakewalks Z3ta is also capable of microtuning, I don't know yet whether it uses these 'TUN' files or not but the Albino 3 manual tells of a free editor thing which is capable of creating user-based TUN files. I can't remember what it was off-hand though.
I'm a Live user kylemcsparron, so no such luxury available there.
