Hailing from Shizuoka, Japan, Shigeru Serizawa (aka SERi) began making music as far back as 1993;
and since 1995 he has been performing his original creations live, and as a DJ, throughout Japan.
His first release, "Deep Fog", made it's way onto the 2006 digital compilation album 'Perfect Strangers'
on Asian Dynasty Records, and he has since released tracks on Coincidence Records (Belgium),
Cupido Records (Italy) and Piso Records (U.K.)
'Crispy' is SERi's first release on Subtrak Records, and we can't wait to hear more from him.
DESCRIPTIONS:
Seri_Crispy: The title track of this EP tips it's hat to Kraftwerk with is carefully paced song structure and repetitious bassline. The crawling synth melodies with a sprinkling of robot quips keep the track close to the darker end of the spectrum without tipping the scales.
Seri_Crispy: Much like it's name, this track utilizes a thick spongy bassline over muted claps to carry nefarious waves of electric piano straight through to the end.
