Vellum Recordings second offering comes as a digital exclusive, again from label owner Rift, accompanied by Touane and Komposit on remix duties.

The release consists of three very unique interpretations of an original track
that had been lost, but reworked by all three artists from the surviving remix package.

Listen to the full release here http://tinyurl.com/qgtf4z

RIFT
(THOUGHTLESS MUSIC, AURALISM RECORDS, VELLUM)

The original mix is a moody cut that is littered with intricate compositional
nuances which are carried by sequences of dense melodic textures and thick
basslines that cover the spectrum of high grade deep house and tech house.
The track is a constant builder which shifts and morphs it energy at the flick
of an envelope. A classic late night excursion that will satisfy the most finicky of music connoisseur’s.

TOUANE
(PERSONA, LIEBE DETAIL, MINISKETCH)

Known for his mastery of blending deep elements with jacking beats,
Touane steps in to rework the track into new territory even for himself.
He strips down the original motif to its most organic elements and creates
a slow building broken groove journey of epic nature. Bending basslines,
immaculate use of space and an emotional barrage of deep stabs and
energetic percussion sequences make this a very special mix of timeless potential.

KOMPOSIT
(EQ, AURALSIM RECORDS, LOBOTOMY)

Komposit is an alter ego of Damon Fonooni (Habersham). Bordering on
experimental, but with a groove that will move anything, the Komposit mix
completes this release in very mature fashion. The mix is driven by a subtle
creeping bassline and lofi percussion that pushes and pulls while an eerie
chord progression creates a space and mood that is sure to leave it’s mark.
A truly artistic interpretation that is rich with complex attention to detail.

Neil Quigley "Like the original very much"

Justin Sloe (Droog) "Dig the way the original climbs. Nice one! The Touane mix is nice too"

Tyler Stadius "Deep & quirked out groovey tunes."

Limaçon "As always, the depth of Rift's composition is intelligent and inspiring. Komposit and Touane both follow with ingenuity and fresh sound design.Hard to pick a winner on this release as they all stand firmly on their own."

Nick Warren "Very cool indeed"

Daniel Mnookin "Really like the original - pretty deep and dark (but without being overly dark)."

Brian Ffar "All these tracks sound terrific. I love the Original once the full groove drops in. However, the Touane remix is my favorite of the bunch - just really moody and absolutely breathtaking artistically"

KiloWatts "Great interpretations of the vanishing track. Komposit's subtle creeping bassline is the one I'll start with."

Acid Circus "Feeling the deepness of Touane Mix. Nice semi broken beat is a change of pace from typical four four tracks.
The Original is also cool. dry and groovy minimal."

Nikola Baytala "Nice Moves on the remix Touane!!!"
