well, before I got into minimalistic electronica I listened to alot of other types of music, as probably most of you did, one of the styles I enjoyed (still do) was minimalistic rock.
it's not commonly known as 'minimalistic rock' - but I prefer that term, because it actually make some sense. the music I am talking about usually go under terms like 'post rock' and 'kraut rock'.
I just want to make clear this isn't like steve reich & the gang, which is more like "academic minimal".
so it would be fun to hear from you if you recognize this music!
