@ Bionic Eye: thanks for the pack. Not exactly what I was looking for, but some very very nice samples there.

@ victor : I unfortunately don't have any mic or field recorder, thus me asking :D

I did however some quite cool ones along with odder bits on freesound.org. So i'd recommend going there if you need any type of sample. That project has grown quite big now and will hopefully keep going at the same rate.

why don't you find a drummer and mic it... or get your own snare and a brush hit and mic that :)
