Today can't get enough of the song by John Martyn - "Sunshines Better" (Talvin Singh)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OaBi45TX3Pg
I only recently discovered John Martyn's music. I was disappointed to learn yesterday that he passed away a few months ago from pneumonia. Damn shame. He has a great blues voice. This is one of the best chill out songs I have ever heard.
If anyone else is really diggin a song today feel free to post it in this thread.
The songs we love today

Why do they always do that with the last track? Dont they know that makes people feel? Bunch of emotional manipulators. Nice song, if anyone was to respond I figured it would be you One more bottle eh? Reminds me of a song by Hayden called "Home by Saturday"
Today I have not one but two songs!
Gotan Project - Indian Gipsy
The Cinematic Orchestra - Music Box
I am surprised more people didn't have a favorite song for the day... I think a lot of these people probably spent the day alone in their bedrooms pole dancing on coke to Britany Spears and are too shy to admit it I wonder when they are in mid-spin if they ever think about how many people have rubbed their feet and spit in the powder flying out of their noses?

There was a quote from Michael Mayer once about the general vibe of his insanely beautiful mix cd 'immer'... something along the lines of 'something so beautiful that it makes you cry, like a sunset' .
But yeah, kinda sad I guess. I'm a bit more emo than is perhaps healthy. ha ha
