First finished track - advice/feedback?

Post by tbag »

Hey guys,

Just finished off my first track, would be great to get some feedback/advice from all you experts, its deep early morning house music, inspired by the great Panorama bar : )

Thanks,

Thick bass, pretty good drum programming... a deceptively dark tune. :) I like the high hats, very early morning... but dangerous!! the part where it breaks off at the end is a little abrupt... but it works. I also like that delay synth at the last part... super spacey... good for mixing.

pretty good i say - most interesting moment for me is when the chords are playing. tbh, for my taste i find the drums a bit plodding when the chords aren't there. nice sound - nice work :)

Thanks for the feedback guys, hydrogen: can i ask you what you mean when you say the hats are dangerous?

clubfoot: I know what you mean alright, the riff is definitely the main part of the track, it was hard to know how long to keep it in the mix, glad you liked it anyway : )

Sorry it was my stream of consciousness at the moment... while listening. :) the whole track is dangerous! :) the open closed high hat pattern is good. :)
