After five months of relative silence, Manna ventures into the night again with guests Madteo and Massimiliano Pagliara. Intact is Manna’s aim to bring fresh, new sounds that are distinctly different.
This time blending future hiphop with house and deep disco stuff, once again expect spine-tickling, irresistable grooves from the heart of the electronic underground. Massimiliano Pagliara, born in Italy, but these days residing in Berlin, is a star in the making. With a record on Balihu in 2008, an EP on Live at Robert Johnson, Rushhour and an upcoming collaboration with Roger 23 on Meakusma, Massimiliano’s first visit to Belgium will be a memorable one. Madteo’s debut album Memoria was released on Morphine Records in 2008 to great critical acclaim. His sound is a fusion of hiphop and the deep end of house. Unique, deep and beautiful, futuristic stuff that nods to the past. Manna resident and meakusma member mck will warm up craftily, as usual eclectic and new.
