Next in the series of Traffica releases comes a grooving EP from Droog. With this more housey affair, Droog shows his true side.
The EP starts with Anything You Want, a house-influenced peak time groover. Starting off with the strong bass-driven groove overlayed with chord sequence, the track slowly evolves into a driving bright theme. With its vocal enhanced breaks and huge chord synth, this proves to be a open-air crowd mover.
Disco Coquette is a more housey affair, focusing on the melodies and tight groove. Intersected with several small breaks and bursts of noise, the track builds up, adding chords and evolving its groovy structure.
Skyline is a deeper tune, with its dubby chords and sparser bass line. Using carefully-performed tuned percussion in combination with other micro edits, it soon shows its true potential, building itself with overlaying, but complementing, themes.
