^^ that is pretty funny - I've laughed 2/3 times in a row..

easy answer:

look at any mixed cd rich has done.

seek out those artist's that were on his cd, and seek out the artist he used and their mixed cd's (if available).

check out the labels from all the artist (and) other artist on their roster..

repeat - this should keep you busy for the next 20 years..

:)

nonetheless, do you really perceive vogel as minimal artist?
Vogel is a diverse artist, and does have some pretty killer minimal stuff. Even some of his harder-edge tracks are very minimal. ie: Absolute Time, etc.

Just because it has a bit of 'unf', drive and energy behind it, doesn't mean it's not minimal (and I wish more producers would realize this. Ploddy slow beats with two-note ping-pong baselines doesnt make it minimal. Boring perhaps, but not necessarily minimal)

thats what makes it minimal....

what isnt minimal is this progressive, white noise, cross over sh!t.

He's not minimal 100% of the time, but when he is it's great stuff. Some of it could definitely be considered similar to Plastikman.

Not a big fan of that progressive-whitenoise-crossover stuff either, but minimal is more than just a slow beat and boring baselines. If that's all minimal was, I wouldn't have gotten so into it. It can be an aspect of minimal, but to say thats all it is is too limiting and rather *yawn* inducing.
