mini-PC and dj-software?

Post by djw »

hi, I just bought a HP 2133 mini-PC. It has a Pentium Atom 1,6 ghz processor and currently 1 gb of RAM (although it's expandable to 2 gb).
I bought it just to employ it for basic tasks such as checking mail and writing termpapers, but seeing as the specs seem to be fine compared to the minimum requirements of Traktor LE, do you people think that it could be an option? I've seen someone on youtube using an Asus EE or whatever they're called, but I haven't seen anyone trying it on an HP mini. It would be fun though! Any ideas?

We tried Serato Scratch on my friend's Acer Aspire One and it did ok.
The processor and ram are the same as your HP. Hope it fits on your screen.

My daughter has one of these small pc's, and I hate it... The screen is so small that you really can't use it for much. When trying to look at pictures you have to scroll ALWAYS and bla bla bla...

I'm not impressed...

I had to shut off hifi resampling and turn the buffer up a bit, but it worked well enough.
