The Prodigy will get Movement 2009 Weekend started with
an electrifying performance on Friday, May 22nd at The Fillmore
in Detroit during the official Movement kick-off party, which
will also feature performances by Paxahau Resident DJ Chuck
Flask and Evan Evolution at the State Bar.

Doors to The Prodigy performance open at 7:00 p.m. Early Bird
tickets for this all ages show can be purchased at www.livenation.com

Starting at Noon on Saturday, May 23rd Techno heads, House
heads and electronic dance music enthusiasts from across the
globe will pour through the turnstiles at Detroit's Hart Plaza for
the start of Movement 2009.

And for the next three days and nights they will have a chance
to experience the ultimate outdoor electronic music venue. 36
hours of music; 4 stages and more than 70 electronic music
rtists and DJs.

Paxahau is now in its fourth year as producers of Movement. Last

PAXAHAU ANNOUNCES 25 MORE ARTISTS FOR MOVEMENT 2009
Paxahau to Promote Movement 2009 Lineup at Winter Music Conference

DETROIT, March 25, 2009—Anthony Rother, Benga, Glitch Mob and Marc
“MK” Kinchen are among the list of 25 more names released today by Paxahau
of electronic music artists scheduled to perform at Movement 2009 May
23-25 on Hart Plaza in Detroit. Last week the producers of the Memorial
Day weekend festival announced an artist list of 35 which included Afrika
Bambaataa, Bassnectar and Carl Cox.

“As I’ve said previously we spend a lot of time selecting artists and DJs
that will appeal to electronic music enthusiasts,” said Jason Huvaere,
president of Paxahau. “And I think with the addition of these 25 artists
we have done a good job of putting together a solid mix of local and
international performers to take the stages at Movement this year.”

The announcement of these artists comes as representatives from Paxahau
head to the 24th Annual Winter Music Conference in Miami. This four day
event is considered to be the premier networking event in the dance music
industry, attracting professionals from more than 70 different countries.
Every aspect of the industry is represented at this event. “Winter Music
Conference is our unofficial deadline to lock down the majority of our lineup,”
Huvaere said. “We go down there to meet with industry professionals and
promote the Movement festival as well as the city of Detroit.”

The Prodigy Invades Movement 2009
The Prodigy will play the official opening party for Movement 2009 at The
Fillmore in Detroit on Friday, May 22. Chuck Flask, Paxahau Resident DJ and
Evan Evolution will be performing in the State Bar. The doors open at 7 p.m.

The group that has had major hits with FIRESTARTER and SMACK MY BITCH UP
is back on the road in support of their new album INVADERS MUST DIE which
reached number one on the UK charts. This is their first US Tour in eight years.
