Problem with audio signal between monitors and sound card

Post by Dragonsand »

Hello all,

I am fed up to hear this "biiip" everytime an audio signal goes from my external soundcard to my monitors.

It's only when there's audio going out. For example, just right now, this bip doesn't exist, but if I listen to music, it appears and stay until I press the stop button of the music player.

It's annoying and I don't know where the problem could come from.

Have you got an idea?

yes, good idea! could be the reason

try with fresh souncard drivers (uninstall and reinstall from scratch)
check cables
check if it happens with every software
if it happens also with headphones plugged in

+1 check with headphones connected to your external soundcard, then maybe check with headphones connected to your internal soundcard.
that should narrow down the possibilities.
let us know!
