funny no-one's mentioned Elliot Smith yet...

My weirdest crying experience was when I was drunk and alone in the middle of the night on a deserted and stormy beach, listening to Villalobos in my headphones. 20 minutes of his Sinner in me remix lead to some really stingy tears.

Other than that, Groove Armada - Blue Skies (original mix) is a great sad to happy emotional journey. And Sigur Ros of course, poplaugur in particular.
