MIDI Dump

Post by JayDreamin »

Im curious if anyone has some knowledge regarding any type of free midi utility that would support a dump from an external sequencer to the computer. My sequencer is really starting to push its memory limits so I need something to store what I curently have for later retrieval. Unfortunately Im a bit of a hardware dork, so software can, at times, be a little greek to me.

In my searches on the net Ive come across a wide range of applications available so if someone could help me sort through the junk it would be extremely helpful.

Also I have a basic understanding of SysEX, but it could never hurt to learn a little more obviously.

Thanks in advance for any info,

Jay
