I just joined a Samba Band at the start of the year, it is amazing, i would recommended it to anyone. Its like a being part of a real drum machine. Its really made me appreciate the clave groove of Latin Music. SO Im Looking for some good Samba Carnival techno along the lines of Adam Beyer, Ben Sims Chris Liebing but also maybe a little more relaxed groovier and down tempo, the good stuff is hard to track down.
any suggestions?
thanks

There's a release on Great Stuff recordings called "Great Carnival Stuff" [GSRCD005]
While it might not be exactly what you had in mind, it has a track titled "Samba de Bochum" by Swen Weber that is totally wicked. Not quite minimal but definitely good!

This release:

Popped into my head as soon as I saw the words 'carnival techno'. I haven't heard it in years but I'm pretty sure it might have some elements that interest you.
