for me the OP-1 no comparison

1- design wise no comparison, you could say the OP-1 is a piece of art remeniscant of Donald Judds work from the 60s, while the DBeat is some mass produced product designed to sell for the short term

2- i got a two somewhere - need to get back to writing this paper

Portability? Wha...? Do you see how huge that thing is? I don't care if it only weighs 20 lbs. And for $4k I'm sure you could get Ableton Live 8, a laptop and the new Akai controller...plus a few other things...and it would probably be more portable.
