I've heard of Discwasher and Gruv Glide being used.

I'm surprised they last as long as they do after being played over and over in a short period of time (I suppose it just has to be somewhat serviceable). The friction of the stylus coming into contact with the groove produces over 300 deg F of heat and causes the vinyl to melt.

i know i usually do so...but i just bought a new pair like a month ago, and i don't fell like already buying a new pair..
used them only for a couple of gigs and another couple of times at home...
i think a friend dropped some sweat on them, i want to clean that out...
i guess some water and a nice cloth will do...or?
any other suggestion?
