Following on from our little journey into some out and out House music and cheeky disco re-edits with Alton Miller and Juergen Junker last year, our occasional side-project, rungrooves, will be making a re-appearance in March as we play host to one of Manchester’s finest – Trus’Me.

Come and join us as we get down to some deep and dirty disco, house, detroit and all round funk with the man who knows how – Trus’Me! Providing full bodied support for this mission will be our very own Alex Fisher with his unstoppable hardware live sets of smooth jackin house. Tone Def from Bournemouth’s top party crew, Delete, will also be on hand with some super deep house to get the evening warmed up and filling in the gaps inbetween will be regular run boy – Chris Box.

David Wolstencroft aka Trus’Me burst onto the scene last year with three mysterious 12-inches that grabbed the attention of house heads worldwide. His debut release on Chicago’s Still Music label was quickly followed by two more, all blowing up on both sides of the pond and accelerating the buzz on this new artist. His production is constantly compared to Moodymann and our such Detroit luminaries with releases usually snatching ‘Record of the week’ in hosts of global outlets.

With a new album about to drop, a monthly Disco 3000 residency at APT in New York and A Resident Advisor Podcast under the belt - Trus'Me is on fire at the moment and things are only just starting...

Quick party update: we're excited to announce that the venue for the rungrooves party with Trus'Me on the 28th is Bar 512 on Kingsland Rd - by Dalston Junction. We hope you can join us for what's shaping up to be another fine night of techno & house with some funk, soul & disco thrown in. We're also massively stoked to grab a date with the ever busy Trus'Me!
