Let's call a spade a spade. It's complete sh!t.
I'm not a huge fan of noisecore per say, but I own enough of it to have been around the block. This is a pretty piss poor effort for whatever it is. With a little research, you can find better music in this style that was done quite a while ago already. You can't knock a guy for wanting to change his direction, but honestly he probably should have just started another project. We all know the Sleeparchive sound, so it's a mold he's created for himself that is hard to break. I say let one project die, and birth another. Only in this case, make sure it's not a damn fetus before you unleash it on everybody.

@thomas d: just fyi - noisecore is something completely different: e. g. bands like anal c*nt, seven minutes of nausea, fear of god (switzerland) or some stuff by the early napalm death (track: "you suffer, but why").
i don't have any problem with industrial/noise stuff - i just don't understand it as i never put a lot of effort into listening to that sort of music.
but maybe mr. sleeparchive just created a new hit for that target audience. who knows.

well, this record is quite provocative, to say the least. Usually you can find these soundscapes on art intalations and exhibitions where the sound is the element of creativity and experimentation.
The more abstract a sound gets, the more dificult is to say when creativity starts. Good ideas not always achieve good results. To me this is just an experiment in noise, to the artist, i'm sure is someting far greater then that, or he just has a keen sense of humour.
