Smoke damage?

What's the deal on this, is it true that smoking weed and smokes in the studio causes circuit damage?

I have a history of falling circuits and I/we smoke like it was going out of fashion in here.

absolutely!
if you have any sort of gear you care about, then your studio should be smoke-free....

smoke and electricity doesnt go well together.
i think its ok if all your gear is midi and such, but monitors and analog stuff might suffer.

every type of dust, ash, ... that's in the air will get between your gear, computer, ...

Electrical instruments atract every kind of dust...

I should get an extractor fan then I guess, I thought it was all nonsense to be honest.
