can imagine, spent several years in germany and know this "person".
Actually the sad thing is - this guy really knows what he's doing and the times of financial crisis are always somehow good for ones of his type.

sad story, really, maybe the european parliament can do sth against it.

I don't know if this would work, in the uk you can't copyright a word thats in general use already. There was a story ages ago that Victoria Bekham tried to copyright the name 'posh' but couldn't because its in use generaly. Are the laws different in germany?
