Following escapades in the digital world, Wolf + Lamb’s second release on vinyl comes from the mighty Seth Troxler with the ‘Aphrika’ EP. ‘Aphrika’ is sensual and hypnotic, armed with a rhythmic male vocal and doused in mystery. Over the past year, Seth Troxler has climbed into the boxes of DJs worldwide, set danceoors writhing with pleasure and made his mark on some of the best labels on the planet. All before hitting a quarter of a century. Owing much to his upbringing in Detroit, where his creatively minded parents and friends allowed his imagination to roam free, Troxler is carving out a niche sound and reputation for unabated creations. Troxler takes on remix duties for the second half of the EP. In his own words, “Nicolas Jaar is one of the most talented minds dance music is about to see develop", and Jaar’s ‘The Student’, proves him to be a fellow youth with abundant talent. Seth’s take is a late night performer to send shivers through the night, explosively percussive and teasingly seductive. Born in NYC, Nicolas Jaar relocated to Chile during his early years and inspired by the likes of Ricardo Villalobos he started to produce at just 14 years old. His productions ow with organic inuences, experimenting with the original techno sound.
