I think they have some great offers when you just bought the previous version while the new is allready announced. You should check out the ableton site.

Thanks, I'll do that. Planned obsolescence is bitch sometimes but I guess this is real progress.

agreed. this is going to change everything.

i wrote a piece of music for my acousmatic music class using max for literally all of the signal processing and it ended up being a very cumbersome process (esp with the death[?] of pluggo). this will change so much of that.

hopefully this will change things from "everyone is a DJ" to "everyone is a max programmer"

&& i would love to help you out with patching sometime pheek ;)
