Last time I was in Las Vegas, there were two record stores. (2002)
Big B's
4761 South Maryland Pkwy
702.732.4433 www.bigbsmusic.com
Liquid 303
320 East Charleston #105
702.383.3245 www.liquid303.com
I have no idea if they are still there.

I played in Las Vegas last year --
The 'dj's' before me played an array of Daft Punk and pop dance remixes. When it was my turn to play people were confused about what they were hearing haha
I even played a lot of house -- some techno -- experimental.
I played for 5 hours and I think half the people in that bar hated my guts and the other half were floored. I still managed to have a kick ass time tho, the people who were into it made it a ton of fun.
But my general consensus was: No -- its not really an experimental town. It's flashy, it's about money (duh), and about what's popular and familiar.
Then again, maybe there have been better experiences.
Cheers

Yes most certainly do that! Also Tejada, [a]pendics.shuffle are from L.A.
