REXTON!
I can't dj with mine, but I know some who can. Maybe it's just about getting used to it.
I only use mine in a club if my ears hurt (before/after playing/or when partying)....

Try your local otologist.

They can have you fitted for some very nice reusable earplugs that are just what you're looking for. It costs about $150 in the US.

My friend recently got some, and now swears by them. I plan to make an appointment soon to get a pair of my own. 8)

I use these:

I have the 15dB filters which I use to DJ with, and have the 25dB filters that I use when I go to shows.

I already have a very mild case of tinnitus in my left ear, so I won't go anywhere without these things.

If you want more information about them, go here:

If you find a local audiologist, they'll take impressesion of your ear canal, and order them for you directly.

I highly recommend them!

I must admit that I find the 15db filter too much for me (that's the one I have) and I'm thinking about getting the 7db filter instead, but yes... everyone should get a pair.

hey thanks guys.. pass this information on to your friends... cuz i have a friend that has about 80% of his hearing and he is a really talented dj and producer... it is a shame to loose that gift of hearing.
