Ok so I've been looking at monitors like most people around here...
I was firstly lookin to buy the Yamaha HS80M's with a HS10 Sub, but now I've seen that for the £700~ that this is going to cost me, I may aswell buy something else.
I understand that everyone has a preferred reference with monitor speakers, but I'm just after a few alternatives to this setup that looks more impressive as far as specifications are concerned.
Also, does anyone know if Digital Village shops have monitors in so I can go and listen to the suggestions? I'm living in Gloucester at the moment and I think theres one in Bristol which isn't far.
EDITl: I'm willing to push my price range further, only if desperately necessary though. Imo 700-800 is a fair price for a decent set of monitors.
Cheers, Chris.

Yeah the Adam A7's will be a pair that I shall give some attention.Stomper wrote:I don't like the Yamaha. but thats just me.
i think that for a start you should buy just monitors with no subs. hear how they sound in your room/studio and only than consider a sub.
BTW, for a standard room it recommended to use 6-6.5 monitors not 8.
