For those who use Ableton to play live.
I would like to know how you organise your clips, tracks and samples.
What elements do you combine, and what do you keep separate.
I hope I’m making some sense, but any advice would be appreciated.

Hey Leon,
I run about 8-10 clips at once, I split them up into:
Bass drum, hihats, snares/claps, percussion 1, percussion 2, bass, chords/melody1, chords/melody2, Pads, Midi out -->Vermona MARS(hardwaresynth), Audio in from V.MARS.
I usually have 2 or 3 sends setup with various delay/reverb/weird FX.
plus some of the channels have insert FX like EQs, filters, distortion etc. I also have some channels running through a send insert with a compressor on it.
I'm probably going to change the way I set up ableton soon, as I am getting a little bored with it.

I use it in a pretty strange way I guess...
I use only 4 audio tracks with 2 X 2 colums with audio loops/sigments.
Sometimes I also use several MIDI tracks when I sometimes take a synth or other machine with me to a gig somewhere.
