USB audio interface

Hi there,

I'm looking for A USB audio interface.
I bought a new laptop this week but im not happy with the sound.

do you guys know some good interfaces?
I dont wanna spend more then 250 euro's.

I got the alesis IO2 & Maudio Fast Track Uktra; both are sh!t

I have two vista comps, one homme basic and one ultimate; on both macines you have to turn the fast track on and off a couple of times before the comp recognises the thing. strange. (Ive looked at IRQs, power management etc)

Its Ok though, if its just for home use then i wouldnt worry, make sure you turn "high performance mode" on; it lowers latency by about 5ms..

I want a usb audio interface that is good in the club and at home.

price doesnt matter anymore just give me some ideas hehe.

here you have two expensive but outstanding soundcards
(also not usb, but unless you have serios reasons to choose usb i would suggest one of those)

rme multiface (express card or pcmcia), motu traveler (firewire)

i saw that kore 2 controller is a interface as wel 24bit\196khz.

anyone has experience with the kore 2 controller and program?
