laurent garniers RA mix had a few song transitions where the key signatures weren't matched, but it didn't detract from the overall narrative style of the set. i think the current wave of popular minimal dj's have caused people to assume that seemless edits and mixing are a must. it's a stylistic choice of the dj's....
i've heard alot of great mixsets that ignore the harmonic information of the songs, and i'm completely ok with that.
